Thank you for sharing Mary — I am finally starting to really embrace this concept! Always thought that years of meditation would get me to a point where my mind would go “blank” but have learned that the practice is more about noticing the times when you notice your awareness has strayed and then bringing it back without judgement. It’s about learning to become aware of being aware and just like exercise it takes consistency to be able to do it more frequently.
